Week 4 - Nov 18 - 24

Blessings to all in this Thanksgiving week!  Have you been able to keep up to date with your reading so far???  The week ahead could either give you a few extra moments to read (thanks to less hours on the job) or could make your reading time more crowded (thanks to the blessings of family, friends, food (and food prep), or possibly MORE hours on the job).  Don't despair!  This may be the time to try a different avenue or option for your reading.  If you have a smartphone or tablet, don't forget you can get to your readings directly from this page!!  So, while you are in the check out line at the store or the mall, waiting for folks to show up at your in-laws house, where ever, give it a try!

This week's readings include what many scholars consider the very pivital section of the Old Testament. The "Book of the Covenant" begins with chapter 20 and the Ten Commandments.  It is said that the rest of the Old Testament builds on what took place in chapters 19 - 24 of Exodus.

While we don't have many "covenants" nowdays that are communicated on STONE, take a moment to consider what kind of valuable PAPERS you have that communicate a kind of "covenant".  If you drew up a convenant between yourself and God, what would it say?
