Christ is risen, indeed!!  Alleluia!

We spend most of the month of April in the book of Psalms, 150 poems written to God  --   poems of praise, poems of lament, poems of worship;  poems, like song lyrics, written to be heard.  At our recent evening discussion event, Pastor Wray Bryant spoke of even reading the Psalms out loud so that the rhythm and language can be fully enjoyed now as they were when they were written.   Consider reading them out loud or even listening to them from a recorded version.  The bible.com (which has been promoted during the History Channel broadcasts of The Bible) includes the ability to listen to different versions of the scriptures for free from your computer or smartphone app.
